Alicante city has two real Cannabis Social Clubs, both in the city centre.
Where the Clubs Are
The Palmz is near Alicante General Hospital, between Lo Goteta and San Agustín and a short distance from Playa Albufereta. Locosmile operates in the heart of the city, open all seven days.
Cannabis Laws in Alicante City
Cannabis is decriminalised for personal use inside a private members' association, but never legal for public consumption — not in the street, in a plaza, or anywhere in public. Both real clubs above are private, non-profit associations: there's no walk-in retail model, and turning up without membership won't get you through the door.
Membership Rules
To join either club you need to be at least 18, carry valid government ID — passport, DNI, or NIE — and complete that club's own registration process. For visitors without an existing contact, the Green-Key Cannabis Club Membership Pass covers a verified introduction to both real clubs above.
